"Daddy's gonna buy you...

...lots of electronics..." Yesterday we were sitting on the couch answering fifty, yes literally fifty, more questions on why we wanted to adopt and our lifestyle. One question was "In what ways do you feel it is necessary to provide for your child?" L immediately began singing the lullaby, "Hush little baby, don't say a word..." and added his own lingo into the song. If you know L at all, you know he LOVES electronics and gadgets. If you know his father at all, you know where this love stemmed from, so I believed his statement one hundred percent. Boy or girl, infant or toddler, he will be buying Little R all kinds of electronics, I just know it.

It is times like these when I remember how lucky I am to be married to L. By this time, we have completed dozens of pages of paperwork, and it can be overwhelming, but L constantly finds a way to make these situations fun and lighten my serious demeanor - what a blessing!

Our home study visit went very well and now we are waiting on the final home study paperwork from our social worker. We also finished our 10 hours of online education classes this weekend. Next, we will move on to our dossier paperwork. We are hoping to be finished with all of our paperwork and in referral wait mode by September, if that is the Lord's will. This could be longer or shorter, but we know God has the perfect timing figured out.
